How do I set my "Vacation" or "Out of Office" message?

If you are going to be away for more than a few days and you would like to automatically notify people who send you email that there may be a delay in your reply, you may want to set a Vacation filter on your account.

To do this, first log into the webmail interface at using your email address and password.

PLEASE NOTE:  As of June 1, 2014, the webmail interface has changed.  These instructions remain the same even though the images may not exactly match the new look.

Next, look for  "Settings" in the top right corner of the webmail interface.  Click it.


Now look for the "Filters" tab across the top.   Click it.


In the Filters column, click on "Vacation"

Fill in your message body (What you want others to see while you are away), then UNCHECK the Filter disabled box and click the SAVE button.


That's it!   Everyone who sends you an email will now now that's you're laying on the beach instead of reading email.

Don't forget to disable the message when you return to the office.   Simply go back to the Vacation filter, check the Filter disabled box and SAVE the filter again.
